The signing at Emory University took place this afternoon where Fr. Thomas's life's work will be archived - very nice affair - nice folks at Emory and Fr. Thomas joined via conference call from Snowmass - more to follow.
In a video of Fr. Thomas Keating's reflections on the theme of this year's conference, "Awakening to the Contemplative Dimension of Life," he offers the following:
"The contemplative dimension of life is the innate capacity of every human being.....a state that is indescribable and furthers the incentive of generous people to pursue the God who is unknowable (with human faculties)..."

I am excited to be a conference blog contributor. I am the current Coordinator for Contemplative Outreach of Metro Washington (COMW) Two of us from our chapter support team will be attending. I am looking forward to time away, a chance to see old friends, and a supportive place to plan for the future of our chapter.

Isabel will be presenting in Spanish on the day of enrichment at the conference next week - the first presentation given all in Spanish. She is a past member of the Board of Trustees of Contemplative Outreach, Ltd. and currently serves on the Extension Contemplativa Internacional Council http://bit.ly/c6QzaF and the Pastoral Council of Contemplative Outreach writ large.
Isabel is gifted in her bilingual ability to teach and to edit many resources used for the Spanish speaking members of Contemplative Outreach. She also has a most mirthful and jovial spirit and it will be a delight to share time with her in Atlanta. And oh yes, she'll also be blogging here.
